Workout Hairstyles

Girl, I have a LOT of hair.  A. LOT. So when I workout, I prefer to make sure it’s not going to be a distraction.  Nothing drives me crazier then having to stop kicking butt to fix my hair.

First, these hair ties are a must. Have Amazon Prime?  Perfect! You’ll have these in your hands in two days and your life will be changed. 😊

Braids, braids, and more braids.  I’m a fan and if you’ve worked out with me, I’m sure you’ve caught on to this. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy, just a strong braid to keep the hair around the face pulled back and under control.

I don’t mind a long ponytail when working out, but for some this can cause a problem.

Find a bun that holds for you and stays tight.  Again, keep it easy, and I personally am more worried about how well it will work over how it looks.

Another great option is using small, clear plastic ponytail holders along a long ponytail to keep all of the hair secure and together.

Hats and headbands are both awesome ways to keep hair from falling in your face.  Sometimes I have trouble with headbands staying in place, but if they have the rubber gripping on the underside, it is more likely to stay put for me.  And on days that I might be doing a HIIT workout, I might throw on a baseball cap and I’m good to go. Love these headbands _______.

Here are some pictures and links of examples and tutorials that I think look awesome and will work great to press play and get your sweat on.
